Red Hawk is a 9-hole course as result of a public-private partnership between the City of Davenport and the Quad Cities Chapter of the First Tee. The course offer programs for golfers from all ages, socioeconomic backgrounds and skills levels. The course has been open to the public since June 2002 and included the addition of three ponds, 20 permanent range tees, driving range, huge putting green and practice chipping green, and the addition of forward tees on every hole. In July 2007, Red Hawk opened a 3-hole practice course, along with adding a pitching green and large fairway.
