War Admiral has been let go in terms of upkeep. Crabgrass and weeds have taken over fairways and fringe around greens. They just mow over the crabgrass. Really sad to see this once top notch course reduced to a dog track. Spend you money on another track.

We played Man O War on 4/26/14. The Bermuda grass is still dormant which made it challenging, the greens were not in good shape due to the bad winter weather in that area. The layout is very good, the course condition and pace of play due to cart path only rules that day made it less than desireable. Looking forward to playing here again in better conditions.
We also play War Admiral the same day, that course in comparison to Man O War was in very good condition. The fairways and greens were very nice. The greens were receptive with acceptable speed. The layout was very good and we all would play this course again. Pace of play was an issue due mainly to the cart path only rule that day.

Went down to Ocean City MD for a week off to play some golf. So this was the first time I played Man O War and was it a good time. Never played Bermuda grass before but I can tell you now that I am hooked on it. It was like playing on a magic carpet. It made me, a 20 handicapper feel like a pro!. The only down side to the course were the bunkers. There was very heavy rain and humidity the two days before so the bunkers were washed away. But if you could stay out of them you will be in for a very enjoyable experience.

Want to go back down to OC and play Man O War one day and come back an play War Admiral the next. The locals say doing that is a real challenge.
