The Heritage original nine holes were designed by William Langford and Theodore Moreau in 1926, while the second nine holes were added by David A. Gill in 1969. The first nine sprawls out over gently rolling terrain, while the second nine plays over more dramatic slopes, offering views of Lake Superior. The public walking rate is $36; carts are $25.

The Greywalls course opened in 2005 with a design by Mike DeVries. This 18 plays over rather rugged and rolling terrain, with dramatic elevation changes in abundance and more views of Lake Superior. The regular season walking rate is $130.

UPGA and GAM members receive various discounts, as do guests of members. Shoulder season rates are also offered, as are memberships and stay-and-play packages.

Overrated and overpriced. A few memorable holes, basically no views of Lake Superior, and riduculous greens.

This is the best golf course I have ever played. I was in awe of the surroundings and while it is difficult, the experience is one that you will want to repeat.

I like this area very much.Greywall is very difficult. The amateur golfer will have an experience ,that will bring a greater understanding to golf course design.Scenery of Lake Superior adds to the pleasure.

Unbelievable course. The views and condition are amazing. Playing from the grey tees is extremely difficult but worth it as the views are awesome. The way the course is cut out of the rock is truely a work of art. Could easily fetch $200 in a more populated area.
