Located in Kingsville, just minutes from White Marsh, I-95 and Harford County, Gunpowder Falls Golf Course (formerly Mt Vista) is unique among the Baltimore County Revenue Authority’s fleet of six golf courses. Gunpowder Falls Golf Course is a “mid-length” course, meaning it is a bit shorter in distance and par is set at 60, a bit lower than the standard par 72.

A mid-length style course like Gunpowder Falls is ideal for golfers who are just learning the game, senior and junior golfers or virtually any golfer who is looking to squeeze in 18 holes in three hours (or less!).

The attractive 18-hole layout covers 65 acres and features eight par fours with tree lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Gunpowder Falls’ ten par threes range from relatively easy holes of less than 100 yards to more challenging tests of up to 185 yards. Ponds throughout the course guard a select number of the large, well-manicured greens at Gunpowder Falls.

In addition to regular white tees and red forward tees, Gunpowder Falls also offers “novice” tees that will be denoted with yellow markers. The novice tees will offer shorter shots for beginning golfers to allow them to enjoy the course but still challenge their skills.
