RI has almost no flat terrain, but most of the golf courses are on typically gentle pastoral topography. Crystal Lake - being newer - takes advantage of the nooks and crannies near Chepachet. Great service, great condition, and great food mark the experience. One can use many clubs off the tees; great driver holes are mixed with clever placement holes. Some of RI's best par 3's, and best designed short 4's.

Crystal lake is a great value. Good condition this year and good price. It has some quirky holes and challenging layouts that makes it interesting. Some holes are close requiring OB.
