It had rain a lot the previous couple days and the rough was THICK and need mowing. It was cart path only. The river was almost out of the bank. I played this course 10 yrs ago and when I got back in the area I made it a priority. It is a beautiful place just wish it would of been dryer and I had played a little better but that is golf after all.

Scenic course and great value. Some of the greens need some work.

First of all compared to other nearby courses in Front Royal this course is way overpriced. Especially for the course conditions. Greens are terrible. Super hard and many have almost no grass. Couldn't get a ball to stay on a green all day. They would hit and bounce off. I was told they are aerating greens on Tuesday July 7. That is really late for this area. I think they are trying to get the greens to recover. I wouldn't play there again.
