The home course for the University of Florida men's and women's golf teams, Mark Bostick GC was known as Gainesville Golf & Country Club until it was purchased by the University Athletic Association in 1962. It was renamed for Mark Bostick, president of Comcar Industries and a donor to the U-F athletics program.

The course was originally designed by Donald Ross; architect Bobby Weed oversaw a 2001 renovation that lengthened the course by about 500 yards. This course is private; the only people allowed to play this course are University of Florida students, faculty, staff, and alumni -- and their authorized guests.
