This exceptionally attractive northwoods course was designed by Texas-based architect Jeffrey Brauer with strategy in mind, especially at the water-fronted 3rd, 8th, 9th, and 12th, while a split fairway at par-5 16th poses a delicious dilemma for golfers. Brauer's design stretches the course from 5,324 to 7,107 yards, so golfers looking for a "punishing" experience from the tips will also be satisfied.
The standard summer rates are $89 Mondays through Thursdays, then $96 on Fridays, weekends and holidays. Twilight and sliding shoulder-season discounts are offered.
