Fair course for the money. You can play a variety of shots off the tees. Some holes are very forgiving and others are brutal. Bunkers could have more sand in them.

No sand in traps. Course not in very good shape

great course with secluded holes, most always in good shape

Clubhouse and dirt parking lot was a little surprising for the cost. other then that a highly recommended course.

The fairways weren't kept up. The greens were good. Placement golf course with a decent layout. Wish they would mow the fairways more.

The Carolina runs true to its designer, Arnold Palmer. Wide open fairways to huge greens with many elephants buried in them. A fair course but could be kept a little bit better. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice course. But it is not a Pinehurst Resort course, but probably a lot better than your home course. A trailer is your clubhouse for now, but you didn't come to Pinehurst to sit in the clubhouse. A new clubhouse is in the works. A good play when in the area. Just seconds from the airport if you need your golf fix in a hurry when fling into Pinehurst
