Designed by Arthur Davis, this championship 18 hole, par 72 golf course is situated on the banks of the Coosawattee River and includes a driving range, a putting green, a chipping green, and a well-stocked pro shop. The greens were recently converted from Penncross Bent to Champion Bermuda.
The standard fees (with cart) are $34 on weekdays, then $45 on weekends and holidays. City resident, junior, senior, twilight, and 9-hole discounts are available, as are memberships.

Really great course. Especially for the money. The new greens are in good shape and will just continue to get better as they are rolled more and mature. A challenging but forgiving layout. Must play.

june '11, greens are almost back to full, maybe a spot here/there. great value, play it @ 5x year. can be ALL the course you want from tips- even w/o the wind blowing.

love the layout, greens were in trouble when there. I've played many time at FF. I am sure they will fix them up.

the weekends are awful they stack people in so your always being rushed by the people on the tee and cant go no where for the want-a-be pros on the green who never let people play threw the greens got a beating in the summer and never came back

My home course. I've been playing here since its opening. It is in the best shape I've seen it. Eric and the crew are doing an awesome job out there.
