If you're a low teens or better handicap, you might enjoy this course, but the single digit handicappers I know aren't fans either. For 20+ handicappers, go to costco and get a box of balls that cost less than $1 per ball.

Lots of forced carries, tiny landing areas, and incredibly narrow fairways with a hill on one side and a ravine on the other. It was interesting to play, but I'll never go back.

It would be a course you'd have to play several times to get an understanding of where, or where not, to hit the ball.

The hardest course in CA and I really like the tee to fairway shots. The ball gets twice the air time but you need a bunch of balls. I lost 13.

Great course, great scenery and with golfnow.com the price is awesome. Bar none the best deal in the Bay area however when it's busy it can be a very slow course. It's very difficult so bring lots of golf balls and don't try to overpower the course...manage it.
