Glen Arbour is owned and operated by Annapolis Group Inc., a land development company, whose roots date back to the 1930’s and the Jodrey family of Hantsport, Nova Scotia. Most of the land that Glen Arbour is situated on was purchased in the 1940’s and was held with in the family until the course and the development were started in 1997.
The well known Canadian Golfer and Course Architect Graham Cooke first saw the land in 1996. Graham quickly realized that this piece of paradise with its natural features and elevation changes was the perfect place to build a flagship course for the Annapolis Group. Shortly thereafter, Glen Arbour Golf Course and Residential Development was born.
Construction took two long years, Annapolis Group’s attention to detail was evident from the start. The course at opening needed to have the feel and quality of a course much older. This feeling of maturity was achieved and Glen Arbour, with its glistening bentgrass fairways opened to rave reviews.
At 6800 yards in length, Glen Arbour is not long by today’s standard but the combination of natural hazards, elevation changes and tricky bentgrass greens challenge players of all skill levels. In its brief few years of existence, Glen Arbour has played host to many celebrities with the highlight being the inaugural Wayne Gretzky and Friends Invitational and most recently the BMO Canadian Ladies Open in 2005.

Early in the year, very poor condition, fairways are covered with sand very wet, not a pleasant day at all. Should not be charging for golf with poor conditions like that.

Very nice well maintained course. Expensive to play, around $120.00 or more, we played using a groupon which made it much more affordable and playing after 1:00. Staff are very friendly. Corse was well manicured with some dificult holes, several which require a 200 - 210 yard carry over marsh areas. Course does present a challenge? I would love and probably will play it again, with another coupon, as the [resent rate is a little high, especially where my wife and I both play. had a very enjoyable day out there.
