This course debuted in 1960 as a pay-and-play facility, but went private in 1962. Since then, the course underwent a major redesign by noted architect Graham Cooke. The club has hosted a variety of Canadian professional and amateur events, including the Ontario PGA, the Toronto Star Women's Amateur Championship, and the Canadian TPC.

Visitors are permitted only as guests of members; the standard guest fees are C$85 on weekdays and C$105 on weekends and holidays (twilight rates are also available).
