Glendale Golf & Country Club

Edmonton, AB T5V 1T8, Canada

This private club opened with nine holes in 1960; the second followed one year later, with Norman Woods as the original architect. In the intervening years, portions of the course were redesigned and rebuilt by the architecture firm of Thomson, Wolveridge, Fream and Associates; Canadian-born architect Graham Cooke oversaw bunker reconstruction, drainage improvements, and the rebuilding of several greens and tee-boxes.

The club has hosted the Edmonton Open, the Canadian Amateur, the Alberta Open, the Alberta Amateur, the Alberta Mid-Amateur, and started what is now known as the Alberta Senior Championship.

This is a private club; visitors are permitted only as guests of a member.
