Ocean View Golf Course
9610 Norfolk Ave
Norfolk, VA 23503-1702, United States

757.480.2094
This course is operated by Billy Casper's course management firm. It opened in 1926 and was actually constructed by a group of World War I veterans, but after a redesign (Ron Fream, 2000) it now has numerous green-side and fairway bunkers.

The non-resident rates (with cart) are $35 on weekdays, $43 on weekends. Norfolk resident, sliding twilight, senior, junior, and police-fire-military discounts are offered, as are memberships.

Fun course and not always in the best of shape. Found out today a new management company will be taking over in the new year.

My local home course. Always in better than decent shape. Even in the winter months. As the weather is getting nicer out, the course in getting into excellent condition. Not a lot of scenery since it's in the middle of the city. But, they do have a family of foxes that make a home on the course.

The course is in great shape, little water in the bunkers. greens are firm and fast, no dead spots.

Good beginner course. I prefer to play Sewels Point but we got a 8am tee time at the last minute. Good greens.
