Lake Monticello Golf Course
51 Bunker Blvd
Palmyra, VA 22963-2507, United States

434.589.3075
At 6,925 yards, the course offers four sets of tees. Tees and fairways are predominantly Bermuda grass with bent grass greens. Fairways are open, but out-of-bounds, woods, sand bunkers and/or water are abundant.

Greens are not back to good shape and some tee boxes needed mowing and cleaning up. We were a twosome and played behind a rude foursome who would not let us play through. This place needs a Marshall on a Sunday!

2012. The greens are coming back great! There are 4 new greens that are superb and are now being "learned" by the membership. Billy Casper Group has been contracted with to maintain the course and improvements are quite noticeable. The course is in good shape other than the fact that the fairways are Bermuda and when it's not growing, there are bad spots. The course appears to be on its way back to greatness! Greens are fast!

I love this layout, particularly from the blue tees. But it's too bad the greens are dying... maybe they should go to sand greens.
