Always seems wet whenever I play there. Tough course for me. It is a great design.

played this course over the years, it has gotten better since the last time.

It was very wet and muddy and the greens are rough. There was some maintenance being done just off of one of the fairways and my ball landed there, but it was so soft and muddy that we never found it, but did find a bout a dozen balls buried in the mud in just a few mins. Had the place pretty much to ourselves. Layout is nice, just no where for the water to drain.

Would be a nice course if it was kept up with, sadly it isn't. Design is great, the facility is not. People were not friendly, and more than half the greens are basically sandtraps. Most definitely not worth the absurd amount they are charging for a course in that bad of shape

The greens were in very bad condition - weeds, holes, really bad! Otherwise, the course was a good test, scenic, very nice!

This course is ALWAYS under water, no matter when how long we have been without rain. The course is pretty nice but it DEF needs a ranger that has some balls and isn't afraid to tell guys to hurry the hell up!!

I play this course everytime I come down to Va. Beach. Haven't played any other courses in the area. Had to play thru ducks, geese, and one deer. Everyone in our threesome thought that the course was in great shape, caught the beer gal's last pass around the course. It seems to be quite a long course, and there are some holes where there is a tee box and a green and the rest sand, or lake! This is just my second time there, and my favorite hole is #1. Don't know why...maybe it's easy and sets you up for the following holes which ain't so easy. The course is equal to or better than most courses I've played and I enjoy going, and will certainly go back....August, I think.

This is my home course and I play there almost 3x a week when work isnt tying me down. It is by far the best membership value in hampton roads and the course is in great shape right now also! I would drive the extra 15 mins to play this course over VBN anyday!
