very old course that can be a challenge when played from back tees.condition runs from really bad to above average depending on the weather. right now it's in pretty good shape even if the greens are a bit slow. I learned to play here so i have a soft spot in my heart for its i tend to be a bit forgiving . tuesday and thursday at 7;30 local group play and everyone is welcome so come out and join us

I like this course. Alot if different holes from a 95 yard par 3 to a long par 5. Greens are decent, fairways are usually pretty good, there are places with alot of hard pan. There are alot of places in the rough that if you hit your ball you might as well not look for it. alot of grass that is 1 to 2 feet tall. Price is kinda high at $36 for this course being that you can play alot of 4 star course at a lesser price.

A decent old school (built in 1927) course that unfortunately is surrounded by "the hood" in east Richmond. Some people won't play there because of that, but for the most part the course exists separate from the rough neighborhoods that surround it. It's a wide open and forgiving course.
