This very private club just outside Charleston features a Seth Raynor design that opened in 1925. Among the features here are a 'horseshoe' green at #3, an 'Alps' hole (reminiscent of Prestwick) at #5, and a 'Biarritz' green at #16. During the 1980s and '90s, restorationist architect Tom Doak and his crew rebuilt the greens as faithfully as possible to Raynor's original designs.
