Wedgewood GC is located north of Houston in a pine forest dotted with ponds and waterfalls on 11 holes. While the course accommodates beginning and higher-handicap players, the back tee-set is rated a tough 73.7/134. The course was originally designed in 1988 by Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin, but has been undergoing a renovation by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy's golf architecture firm.
Peak greens fees with a cart (before 1:00 p.m.) are $35 weekdays, $45 weekends.

It's so sad that they will be closing the doors of Wedgewood in 60-90 days. Wedgewood is not overly challenging in length, but it challenges the golfer in course management and shot making It is a lovely golf course.

this is a nice course. if you like to hit driver, don't play there, it might have 3 driving holes, the rest are iron play. #18 is a 430 par 4, straight up hill.
