Architect Ted Robinson did the original course design here, although the late Mike Strantz was brought in to redesign this layout in 2002. As with other Strantz designs, the course appears to be intimidating, but Strantz left the average player enough room to play - although missed shots can dent one's scorecard.

Speaking of scorecards, two of them are presented here: One for the standard par-72 layout, the other for a par-71 option, in which the 18th hole is played as a par-3.
