Pickens Country Club, located in the heart of the Upstate of South Carolina, opened in 1954 with nine holes and added a second Willie B. Lewis-designed nine in 1958. Set in rolling terrain, the par-72, 6,220-yard layout is bordered by woods on some holes and the majority of the fairways are defined by evergreens and hardwoods.

The course features a mature, traditional layout that brings water into play on only a couple of holes. Pickens Country Club’s Bermuda fairways and bent grass greens are coupled with strategically placed sand and grass bunkers that will challenge players of all ability levels. Keeping your tee shot in the fairway is a must when the rough is grown up, and the small, undulating greens require precise shot making on approach.
