Formerly known as "Rayburn Country Club," this resort underwent renovation by Randy Russell of the Russell Golf Design group between January 2010 and April 2011, winning an award for renovation of the year in 2012.

The golf course features 150 feet of elevation into the tall stately pines of East Texas and affords golfers of all ability levels an enjoyable round.

The front nine is now what the "old timers" called the Blue Course. With lots of elevation changes and forced carries, this renovated front nine was extended and widened to enhance the beautiful corridors and allow the player to execute different shots off the tee.

The back nine is the old Gold Course that features less elevation, but feels like more classic in style. Outstanding views, rolling elevations, pine trees lining the fairways and pinestraw mulched areas give the player an Augusta like feel.

The Green Course is a 1979 design by Robert von Hagge and features smaller greens (29,900 square feet). Locals say the driver is often not the choice on the tee, even with a 600-yard double dogleg.
