Quail Valley opened in 1970 as a private country club and contains two courses - the La Quinta course opened on July 4, 2008, while the El Dorado course opened in 1970. El Dorado hosted the 1973 and 1974 editions of the Houston Open, a long-time stop on the PGA Tour, and was completely redesigned by architect Jeff Blume in 2010. Now owned by the City of Missouri City, both courses are open to the public.

Come to Houston and play this course! They put some money into making this a very enjoyable course to play! Fairways and Greens are in great shape! The price to play is fair and pace of play is moving right along. Well worth the drive to play this course.
