Located on the campus of Southwestern University, Kurth-Landrum GC had something of an unclear history. Before World War II, the course had eighteen holes, but was later reduced to nine. The course was opened to the public in 1983, and then reduced to six holes in 1999 when the university built new softball and soccer fields. At one point, reports suggested that the university was going to add three holes to make this a 9-hole layout, but the university has completely shut down Kurth-Landrum, with no plans to re-open in the future.
