Indian Creek Golf Course
1650 W Frankford Rd
Carrollton, TX 75007, United States

Rated among the top public golf courses in the Dallas - Ft. Worth Metroplex, Indian Creek Golf Club offers 36 Holes of championship golf. The two distinctly different 18-hole courses are situated along the Trinity River in the northern Dallas suburb of Carrollton.

Originally opened for play in 1984 and recently undergone a complete redesign and renovation by Jeff Brauer, the Creek Course takes full advantage of its lush surroundings and thousands of mature trees. Generous fairways, steep-faced bunkers, and large, undulating greens are showcased on this 7,235 yard par 72 beauty that was ranked among the top 10 Best New Golf Courses in 2004 according to Golf Digest.

The Lakes Course, which opened for play two years later, is a true parkland style layout with a number of doglegs, ponds, and gently rolling greens which were converted to Champion Bermudagrass during a renovation in 2005. Considered more playable to its older sibling, the Lakes Course still measures up at 7,000 yards and at a par of 72, should not be taken lightly.

(Lakes) Over priced for the standard rate. Worth the experience under a special offer. Nice fairways, w/ rough just long enough to cause a flyer. Fast and fun greens with plenty of character.

Tewo courses to choose from and both give you a decent crack at the lakes and creeks that play through the area. Not a huge fan of these two - I can probably blame it on pace of play and the uninteresting shot values as you go around the course. There just are not enough good golf holes to choose from. Service is exceptional and the girls are AVID Golfer winners.

WAY over priced for weekend rates. Practice tee is a hay field unless you hit from the mats. Chipping green is basically a closely mowed after thought with a few flags. Cart girls are more friendly than pro shop staff. Course is in good shape but there are much better values in DFW.
