Indigo Creek Golf Club is in the very heart of the Grand Strand's "Low Country" plantation area in Murrells Inlet, just 10 minutes south of Myrtle Beach. The back nine is set among giant oaks and flowing creeks. Golf Digest's 1998 Places to Play gives Indigo Creek 3 Stars. This William Byrd design has lots of water and wildlife. It's been said that Indigo Creek Golf Club is as enjoyable to look at as it is to play.

This was the third course in the Golf.com World Handicap Championship. While it did not rain the entire course was waterlogged including the tee boxes. This would be a good course to play with dry conditions.

the actual course was good, greens were very playable.high slope rating 130 for 6200 tees.. hit it straight or take lots of balls!!! The down side is the cart paths are the worst condition i have ever seen.. I heard they are suppose to be redoing them.. But would play agin just for the golf..

Once a very nice tract but it's aged and has not been maintained. Wear a kidney belt if you are riding a cart, the cart paths are worse that a northern city after a hard winter and tree roots ruin everywhere else you may venture with the cart. Many other places to play including Indian Wells, just across the street and International, just around the corner, for about the same money and a much better experience.
