San Diego Country Club

Play a course that will never bore you. A course celebrated for its deep bunkers, demanding greens and perfect fairway lies. A course that's a test of skills on every game.

Our renowned, championship-caliber course, designed by William P. Bell, was built in 1921, before bulldozers were used. The result is a rolling terrain that makes every shot different from the one before.

Pros look forward to our Augusta-like greens. Enthusiasts welcome the challenge of playing all types of golf shots here. And everyone, including men, women, couples and youths, enjoys easy accessibility for play with our array of planned golfing events.

We hosted the 1952 and '53 PGA San Diego Open; the 1964 USGA Women's Open Championship, which was won by San Diego Country Club honorary member Mickey Wright; and the 1993 US Women's Amateur Championship.

You must be an invited guest to play San Diego Country Club.

Very true and fast green. These are probably the best greens in SD. Other than that nothing special for a country club.

Perhaps the best traditional course I have played in Southern California. No weak holes here.
