This resort offers two courses; the River Course opened in 1992 and plays along the Santa Ynez River (hence the course name). Also on the menu are views of the foothills, the Santa Ynez Mountains, framed by mounds that can cause some sidehill lies, mature live oaks, native sycamores, and some elderberry trees. Most greens are large, with moderate undulation. At 6,830 yards, this par-72 course is challenging, but not terribly punishing, while the moderate central California climate permit play year-round.

Standard daily walking fees are $60 weekdays and $72 weekends. Senior and twilight rates are also available.

The resort also operates the Ranch course located approximately two miles away.
