This facility previously consisted of 36 holes; the Diablo course the more scenic of the two and the Gabilan which was longer and more challenging. With the state of California being hit hard by the drought, as of July 1, 2014 they have become and 18 hole facility. 10 holes were taken from the Diablo course and 8 from the Gabilan course. The "new" layout is more challenging and allowed them to retain as many of the favorite holes as possible.

It wasn't the drought that killed 18 holes here. it was due to the greed of the property's most recent owner. He bought the property for a song from the homeowners who were in a financial spot. He closed the holes down to build more housing on the property.

Overall it is a good course. When I played April 1, 2012 the greens could have been in better shape - too much growth around the hole.
