River Islands Golf Club
9610 Kodak Rd SE
Kodak, TN 37764-1048, United States

865 933 0100
River Islands Golf Club was designed by internationally renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills. This spectacular course features numerous holes crossing or playing along the French Broad River. With four holes located on islands in the middle of the river, River Islands offers a truly unique golf experience. A "must play" in the Knoxville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.

River Islands has received Golf Digest's prestigious 4-star rating. With water on 9 holes and beautiful Zoysia fairways, River Islands offers a challenging yet beautiful experience. At 7,001 yards, the course is a worthy adversary to scratch golfers from the "tips", but plays a manageable 6,300 yards from the regular tees. The course travels along the edge of the French Broad River, with three islands in the middle of the river serving as a focal point of the course. The championship layout and manicured conditions make River Islands a consistently superb playing experience.

Greens were very hard. Almost like concrete. They hit hard and ran a mile. Overall, course was in very nice shape. Workers seemed a little edgy to customers...not sure but it seemed like they were upset we were there.

Hospitality - these guys should look up the definition and implement a change. I pay good money to play there and should feel extremely welcomed. Customer service is KING!!!

Great course! Was treated extremely well by the pro. Will play again if I return to the area.

Spectacular views. The course is designed around the French Broad river. You have Par 3 holed that cross the river from tee to green. Par 5 holes that are boardered by the river, and such. This is a must see to believe course. Make certain you stop by, if you are in the area.

Greens have been replaced and are super tough. Fast and Firm at the moment. Tough course and can usually get much better rates than other courses of the same caliber.

new greens have been installed and are in pretty good shape. Rough is tough...

GREENS ARE ABSOLUTELY GONE! ALL JOKES ASIDE - PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE IN 2012.

Zoysia fairways are great. Greens are in terrible shape.

BEEN PLAYING SINCE IT OPENED AND IT IS MY HOME COURSE AND FAVORITE COURSE.

A truly unique course. You play from Sevier County across the river to an island then to Knox County and then back to the island and then to Sevier County. From the back tees, there are four tee shots across the river. The fairways are zoysia so the ball sits up and says, "Hit me." In my opinion, one of the finest public access courses in East Tennessee.
