The former Forrest Crossing Golf Course known more recently as The Crossing was sold and is now known as Franklin Bridge after the historic bridge that crosses the Harpeth River back and forth a few times on the course.
Built on historic old farmland in the late 80's, this links style course really feels like a respite amongst the booming growth of Williamson County. Beautiful old trees, fitting mounds and the Harpeth River.
Green fees include cart fee, warmup bag and lunch!

Course was in poor shape. Looked like it hadn't been mowed in days. Needed a lot of TLC. Marshall kept harassing my foursome all throughout the front nine. Terrible. Will not be back.

For my 1st time playing in franklin,tn - it was worth it, especially knowing the going rates for other courses in the area.
Course was in great shape.. LOTS OF WATER!! Check out hole #9 ! Looking to hit it again!!

Forrest Crossing is an OK course, its back 9 is more challenging so do your best on the front 9. The last 2 holes are tuff. It's a fairly nice course, good people, always busy, club house is OK, they need to upgrade facilities.

Average public course. They overcharge only b/c there isn't much competition in the area for public courses. On a crowded day, pace of play is 5 hours...during the week you can play it in 3 to 3.5 hours. Its usually in pretty good shape with bermuda fairways and champion bermuda greens. The greens tend to be bumpy and inconsistent. There is very little sand and the course is open so many way-word shots can be recovered. If you need to post a good score this is the place.

Interesting course, in decent condition. We played with our children and nobody ran up on us all day. Greens are pretty flat but the holes, tee to green are interesting.

Played without my skycaddie. I sure missed it, I needed it for yardages and fairway information. The course was in good shape, and the greens although fuzzy were fast. Hoping to play it again before leaving area.
