Prairie Green Golf Course
600 E 69th St
Sioux Falls, SD 57108-4614, United States

605.367.6076
This appropriately-named course opened in 1995 with a design by architect Dick Nugent; Golf Digest ranked it among the best new affordable courses for 1996. Water and wetlands are in play on twelve holes, while four sets of tees stretch the course from 5,245 to 7,179 yards. Full practice facilities are also available.

Prairie Green is one of three courses owned by the City of Sioux Falls and operated by Dakota Golf Management, so the course is very much open to the public. The standard walking rates are $30 on weekdays, $33.50 on weekends (carts are $16.50). Twilight, early-bird, senior, junior, military, 9-hole, and shoulder-season rates are available, as are season passes.

A great course in Sioux Falls. The layout is very challenging especially if the wind is blowing. A very good mixture of holes that make you layup or take on the risk reward of going for it. The greens are fast and smooth and the fairways are always in good shape. The rough however can be a bit patchy at times. If you are in Sioux Falls this is a course you should play.

4 sets of tee boxes allow you to play to your skill level. Start with the Golds as the Blues and Blacks may prove a real challenge for your game, the water and hazards will certainly win out.
