Pasatiempo Golf Club
18 Clubhouse Rd
Santa Cruz, CA 95060-1802, United States

831.459.9155
Pasatiempo was designed by world-renowned golf architect Alister MacKenzie. Even though Mackenzie also designed Augusta National and Cypress Point, Pasatiempo was his favorite layout and where he made his American home, which still borders the sixth fairway.

Pasatiempo is rare in that it is one of the few Mackenzie designs open to the public and that it is one of the few public-access courses ranked in the top 100 courses in all of the United States. The peak walking rate is $250; carts are $30.

Good course. You can feel the history as you walk it, much like Pebble Beach in that respect. Beautiful Mckenzie bunkering throughout. Tough course to play for the first time because it's so narrow and there are numerous blind shots.

Overall it's a good course, but not worth the $260 price tag in my opinion.

Very tough but in great condition and a test of golfing ability.

Sweet, one of the best courses ever but expect to shake your head a few times.

Wonderful experience. Fortunate to play with two members who could provide a little insight on lines. Worth a journey!

I've played it a few times - always great. It is very well maintained. It is a challenge to be sure but very fair. Pace of play can be slow but usually not too bad.

The course was everything people say it is. The greens are the most difficult I have ever encountered with undulations everywhere. It was difficult but I absolutely loved it.

About as close as I'll get to playing Augusta National... Awesome.

One of the toughest yet very rewarding and beautiful

Truly a beautiful traditional layout by Alistar MacKenzie.
