Lawrence Park Golf Club opened in 1921 with nine holes constructed on land owned by General Electric and built by (and for) employees of the company.
The original layout was adjusted in 1931 to relocate Hole Nos. 1,2 and 9 to make up the back nine that you see there today. Then in 1941, the club hired Alfred H. Tull to layout nine new holes and bring the golf course up to a full 18-hole facility.
