Gearhart Golf Links is a public resort course with 18 holes of spectacular, links-style golf located in the town of Gearhart on the beautiful North Oregon Coast.
Gearhart Golf Links is built on 100 acres, with almost every inch taken up by its 18 glorious golf holes. There was space left over to build a wonderful putting green near the pro shop, and a massive putting course called “The Clam Bed” between #1 and #9.
Opened in 1892, Gearhart is the oldest continual golf course west of the Mississippi!!

I liked this course a lot. Basically flat, there are a lot of undulations that make playing it strategically is a must to avoid being on the wrong side of a mound or have a blind shot into a green. The greens are small (as one would expect of a course >100 years old!), but in terrific condition - although subtle.
