The course formerly known as Coos Country Club and Watson Ranch has gotten a bit of a makeover by the new owner, Andre Liloc. The original architect, H. Chandler Egan, designed the first nine holes, while modern architect Bill Robinson designed the second nine that opened in 1998.
Andre decided to reverse nines so the 18th hole finishes up in front of the clubhouse making a great viewing area from the dining room.

Nice course, when we played it was very windy as you will often find on the Oregon Coast. 20 to 30 mph winds I loved the
Bent grass greens very fast although very true. You had to play enough break or you looked stupid out there. I liked the course layout however it would be hard to walk the course very hilly and a lot of cutbacks from greens to tee boxes and back to the fairways.
