This 1921 A.W. Tillinghast gem re-opened in May of 2015 following a restoration of Tilly's original design by Atlanta-based architect Bill Bergin. Source material included aerial photographs and contour drawings. In addition to all-new greens, the reno includes some grass-faced bunkers.
The club dates to 1920 as the "Golfer's Country Club," was renamed to "Oakhurst Country Club" one year later, then took its current name in 1947.

True Country Club. You will find the members are good people and at any point in time you can walk out there and find a group to play with. The course is kept up very well. They are working on a total renovation now that should be completed in May, can't wait to get back out there.
