This very notable Pete Dye-designed course debuted in 1976 as Oak Tree Golf Club; Dye returned in 2009 to oversee some renovations and restorations to the course.

Oak Tree National has hosted four notable championships:

2000 PGA Club Professional Championship (Tim Thelen, playoff)
2006 Senior PGA Championship (Jay Haas, playoff)

This is a very private club; visitors are permitted only as guests of a member.
