Golf enthusiast Ken Hobbs (with a little prodding from his wife) developed this course, which features Bermuda greens and was named as a women-friendly course in 1997 by the since-folded Golf for Women magazine. The course underwent some changes and length-extension in 2008, and now features four par-4 holes.

The floodlit practice range opened in 2000.
