This 18-hole course opened in 1925 as the South Course of Heather Downs Country Club, and was originally designed by architect William J. Rockefeller. After World War II, this layout became public. Toledo-based architect Arthur Hills redesigned three holes of the course. A scattering of 41 bunkers are in play, while five sets of tees accommodate both higher-handicap and better players.
