Mather Golf Course
4103 Eagles Nest Rd
Mather, CA 95655-2900, United States

916.364.4354
Irish golf architect Jack Fleming did the original design of this course, which opened in 1959 on what was then Mather Air Force Base (KMHR). The course is now owned by the County of Sacramento, operated by CourseCo Inc., and open to the public. The lush landscape masks a strategic design that is still accessible to higher-handicap players and beginners.

The 18-hole walking rates are $28 Mondays through Thursdays, $31 on Fridays, and then $38 from dawn to noon on weekends and holidays.

The course can also host group and corporate outings, as well as weddings and other such events.

Player Developement Program at Mather (will be back in Fall for those not already enrolled), unlimited range, unlimited 19th hole and $10 twilight rounds with a cart. Friday twilight is best pace of play ever at Mather. Greens are in best condition EVER. Smooth rolling, no longer spongy, and not too hard.
