Formerly known as Wadena Municipal GC and Wadena Golf Club, Whitetail Run is owned by the City of Wadena and is open to the public. The original nine (1926) is parkland-style, and was renovated alongside the new links-style nine by Joel Goldstrand in 1996.

WRGC offers a special twilight rate available on Saturdays after 6 PM.
