Situated on gently sloping terrain overlooking the Ohio River, California GC is located just northeast of the Interstate 275 interchange at U.S. Highway 75 / Kellogg Avenue. Hundreds of mature trees and two large lakes frame the holes here. The course opened in 1936 with a design by Bill Diddel.

The standard walking rates are $22 on weekdays, $26 on weekends; carts are $15. Junior, senior, twilight, and 9-hole rates are available, as are season passes.
