Lincoln Park Golf Course was established in 1909 as an 18-hole course (making it one of North Dakota's oldest), but was devastated by the 1997 flood of the Red River of the North. Today the course is a revised 9-hole layout, still located hard by the river. (Our scorecard has already been modified for 18 holes.)

What makes Lincoln Park GC special is the free 6-hole Kids' Course developed over the remaining land by the Grand Forks Park District (all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). These shorter-distance holes encourage younger children to try the game of golf with hopes that they continue to play and enjoy the game, and clubs are available for use in the LPGC clubhouse.
