Robert Bruce Harris designed the first nine holes, which opened in 1948; the second nine has more of a dunes-type feel and opened in 1979. The course's namesake, Apple Creek, comes into play on 13 holes here. New ownership took over in 2006. The greens fees shown are for non-members; playing with a member reduces the greens fee considerably.
The course was lengthened by about 300 yards following a flood in 2010.
