This Hugh Vincent Freehan parkland design opened in 1925, and was redesigned by Gerald Pirkl and Donald Brauer in 1960. Soldiers Field also offers a set of 'junior' tees that plays to 3,893 yards, par 71/77.
The City of Rochester offers a 'season ticket' with complete access to Soldiers Memorial Field, Eastwood, and Northern Hills golf courses. A 'patron card' is also available that reduces green fees to half-price.

Just back and forth all day. 9 and 18 are the same hole basically. Can hardly tell the difference. Need to change the layout and make some doglegs or something. Really boring lay out. Every hole looks the same. Bunkers are basically crushed gravel. Where is the sand?
