Quail Hollow Club
3700 Glen Eagles Rd
Charlotte, NC 28210-4937, United States

704.552.1727
This very private country club hosted the Kemper Open from 1969 to 1979. Since 2003, Quail Hollow has hosted a very popular PGA Tour event, currently known as the Wells Fargo Championship.

The course is a George Cobb design that opened in 1961 and has since been modified by Arnold Palmer in 1986, and by Tom Fazio in 1997 and 2003. It is generally regarded as one of the best and most challenging courses on the PGA Tour. Of note here are several holes; the 7th features an interesting pond and rock wall, the 10th is a daunting 591-yard par-5, the signature 17th hole is a 217-yard par-3 over water, and the closing hole features a deep creek bed running the length of the hole.
