Great course designed by Jack Nicklaus. It has a great layout and the course was in great condition. Greens were a little on the slow side but very receptive to full shots. The most challenging part of the course is green complexes which have bunkers surrounding all the greens and almost all the greens have undulations or different levels to the greens. The front and back 9's seem totally different as the front seems more traditional layout and the back has a lot of holes where club selection and placement off the tee are required. The average price for a round here is $150, I got a Groupon deal for $59 which I believe is well worth it.

Great golf course!!!! Loved it. Only con was the number of homes on the course. Just not my cup of tea but the golf is amazing. Can't go wrong with this one!!!

Great course lay out. Jack did a great job here in Pinehurst. This course has some tight fairways and huge greens. The greens were probably running about a 8 on the stemp meter. The greens had been punched about a month ago, but were really rolling true. The course did have some brown spots, but golf digest and the pga say brown is the new green
