Kensington Metropark Golf Course
2240 W Buno Rd
Milford, MI 48380-4410, United States

248.685.9332
Designed by Hugh Lamley and built in 1961, Kensington is the most well known of the regional Metropark system golf courses. Playing to a par of 71, this classic parkland style course tips out at 6,611 (71.6/120 rating). Three other sets of tees adjust the difficulty for the golfer. The terrain is rolling woodland and there is only one water hazard on the course. With limited bunkering and moderate green speeds, it is not difficult to score well here if one hits a straight tee ball with reasonable distance. Wayward drives will often require a chip shot back to the fairway as most holes are bordered by mature hardwoods. A Metropark pass is required to enter the park ($5/day or $25 for the season). Entry is from I 96 (Kensington Road exit).

The pin placement was difficult. The greens were very fair. Good course.

A nice average parkland layout. It is very popular and expect a 4.5 to 5 hour round. Always in good shape (not great).
